"Balgair meaning in antique Gaelic language is dog or fox, so I did choose the name because a Scottish Terrier was a dog going for hunting foxes and other vermins underground. In my opinion a Balgair has to be a real Terrier in temperament and boldness besides his type and beauty.
My first Scottie was Gaywyn dog bought in 1974 that became Italian and International Ch. In 1978 a beautiful bitch by Ch.Gaywyn Landmark and sister to top Scottie in England Ch.Colette of Wildermist achieved my family: Cleo of Wildermist. Mated to Ch.Enchanter of Eilburn she gave me two Italian, International and World Ch.Billy Budd and Bonnie Lassie. The last was also Best in Show at Florence Ch. Show in 1980 under Mr. Bob Curtis (Australia).
Many Balgair won top honours in Italy and abroad. In 1981 another dog arrived in my home: Stuane Clansman (by Ch. Kennelgarth Edwin x Ch. Stuane Princess Royale). This dog was so much loved for his beautiful temperament, for his type and beauty and for his super and rare capability to reproduce very nice progenie and top winning Scotties, Archie, himself Italian, International World Ch. and Stud Ch., sired 3 World Ch., 3 European Ch., Top Terrier in Italy, many International Ch. and a total of 14 Italian Champions. Kennel Danskots is based on a combination between Stuane Clansman and a Saorsa bitch. Many others Champions were bred as Balgair and the last are my own: Balgair Prototype and sister Balgair Luna Rossa and brother Balgair Russian Winter.
My last achievement is Raglan Roslyn Williams (Ch. Raglan Rory x Ch. Raglan Rose Carnival), now only a young boy but soon in the crowd !"
